Blue Flag 2026, Official Award Ceremony Held in Tirrenia
The official ceremony for the presentation of the 2026 Blue Flags to the bathing establishments along the Pisan coastline took place this morning, Thursday 25 June, at Bagno Roma in Tirrenia. The symbolic event celebrated the prestigious recognition awarded by the FEE – Foundation for Environmental Education to Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, Calambrone and the Port of Pisa.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Port of Pisa, Simone Tempesti, together with representatives of local institutions and associations from the seaside sector, highlighting the shared commitment to environmental protection, sustainability and the enhancement of the local area.
The Pisan coastline continues to be recognised by the FEE for its water quality, sustainable management of the territory, services provided, and its commitment to hospitality and safety. This achievement represents a shared asset and an encouragement to continue along the path of growth and enhancement of the coastal system of Pisa.
