Blue Flag 2025 Award Ceremony
The Pisan coastline celebrates once again the Blue Flag, the prestigious recognition awarded by FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), which rewards water quality, environmental sustainability, and services.
In 2025, four Blue Flags will fly: in Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, Calambrone, and at the tourist harbor of Porto di Pisa, confirming a strong commitment to quality hospitality, including in the nautical sector.
The official flag-raising ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 24 at Bagno Maddalena in Tirrenia. Among those present: the Mayor of Pisa Michele Conti, the Environmental Councillor Giulia Gambini, the Tourism Councillor Paolo Pesciatini, the President of FEE Italy Claudio Mazza, the Administrator of Porto di Pisa Simone Tempesti, the President of Sib-Confcommercio Pisa Fabrizio Fontani, the Vice President of Fiba-Confesercenti Pisa Gianni Rebecchi, the President of Balneari of CNA Pisa Sergio Sighieri, and the Commander of the Livorno Port Authority, Commander Gennaro Fusco.
