Spazzapnea 2024

The sixth edition of Spazzapnea – Clean Seabeds Operation, the national waste collection competition in freediving, will be held on Sunday, June 9th. In addition to Marina di Pisa, it will involve six other Italian locations: Genoa, Ancona, Rome, Bari, Ustica, and Torre del Greco, coordinated by Spazzapnea ODV.

With the mission “clean seabeds,” Spazzapnea aims to protect one of the main lungs of our planet from waste dispersal in the environment: our sea.

It is a competition during which participants, divided into teams, become true sea cleaners and compete by diving in freediving or walking along the shores to collect the most waste.
